Erica Fehr is the senior litigation paralegal for Mike Kerensky. In that role, she works directly with the attorney to advance the litigation process from conception to conclusion. Erica and Mike have worked together, on and off, for the past 20 years. With their history, they have developed an immense level of mutual trust that makes their team impeccable. With over 20 years of experience as a paralegal, Mrs. Fehr has had the privilege of working for both plaintiffs and defense firms, giving her the advantage of knowing how both sides think and strategize. Mrs. Fehr also has extensive experience in mass tort litigation. She was the head paralegal who led the product liability department of a large Houston law firm against Giant Corporation General Motors in a mass-tort litigation regarding the ignition switch defect.
Mrs. Fehr is involved in many critical aspects of pending litigation, including but not limited to a background investigation, investigation of pertinent information and evidence related to cases, interacting with expert witnesses and healthcare providers and their staff. Preparation and response to pleadings and discovery, review and management of large document productions, assistance in preparing lawyers and witnesses for depositions, and preparation for trials or arbitrations. Erica is a Houston native and speaks Spanish and English fluently. She attended the University of Houston, where she obtained her Paralegal Certification. She is happily married to a Houston Police Lieutenant and has three handsome sons.
